NORTHFIELD, Vt. (AP) Vermonts Norwich University is going to be hosting a lecture by one of the worlds foremost futurists, who argues abundance for all is within the grasp of the people of the world. <\/p>\n
Peter Diamandis is the chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation. He is scheduled to speak Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Plumley Armory on the schools Northfield campus. <\/p>\n
Diamandis is the co-author of a book which lays out a plan by which the world will soon be able to meet and exceed the basic needs of every man, woman and child on the planet. <\/p>\n
Diamandiss appearance in Northfield is part of the schools Todd Lecture Series, named in honor of U.S. Army retired Maj. Gen. Russell Todd, who is also Norwich president emeritus. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
