(September 19, 2012) - Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX), which designs, manufactures and launches the world's most advanced rockets and spacecraft, has earned AS 9100 Rev C registration from NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR), a leading provider of quality management systems registrations worldwide. AS 9100 Rev C registration reinforces SpaceX's commitment to quality and leadership in the aerospace industry. <\/p>\n
AS 9100 Rev C is the latest edition of the Aerospace Quality Management standard (AQMS) and is designed to meet the stringent and complex demands of the defense and commercial aerospace industry. It includes nearly 100 additional aerospace-specific requirements and is based on the International Organization for Standardization quality management system standard ISO 9001. <\/p>\n
