Sumner M. Redstone, Executive Chairman of Viacom and CBS Corporation has been Chairman of the Board of National Amusements since 1986, and CEO since 1967. He is a member of the Advisory Council for the ATAS Foundation and is on the Board of Trustees for The Paley Center for Media. He also served as COB of the National Association of Theatre Owners, and is currently a member of its Executive Committee. Before that, he was President of the Theatre Owners of America. Murray Gell-Mann, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Fellow at the Santa Fe Institute as well as the Robert Andrews Millikan Professor Emeritus at the California Institute of Technology. In 2010, he was appointed Presidential Professor of physics and medicine at USC. In 1969 he received the Nobel Prize in physics for his work on the theory of elementary particles. The goal of the USC Center for Applied Molecular Medicine is the development of novel treatment strategies for cancer. The Center was implemented to enable multiple disciplines to work on treatment and the care of patients with cancer.
