HURON COUNTY Test results issued Wednesday found all beaches are safe for swimming, according to the Huron County Health Department. <\/p>\n
The results issued for all 13 area beaches tested have revealed they are well below the 300 E. coli colonies per 100 ml of water for swimming safety. <\/p>\n
There has only been one beach closure since testing started nine weeks ago. That closure was at Port Crescent State Park Day-Use during the third week of testing. <\/p>\n
The summer beach testing program is funding by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. <\/p>\n
