{"id":49489,"date":"2012-07-12T23:20:46","date_gmt":"2012-07-12T23:20:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/uncategorized\/ipswich-beaches-closed-over-bacteria-concerns.php"},"modified":"2012-07-12T23:20:46","modified_gmt":"2012-07-12T23:20:46","slug":"ipswich-beaches-closed-over-bacteria-concerns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/beaches\/ipswich-beaches-closed-over-bacteria-concerns.php","title":{"rendered":"Ipswich beaches closed over bacteria concerns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>    IPSWICH   <\/p>\n<p>    All beaches in town are temporarily closed over bacteria    concerns.  <\/p>\n<p>    The town's wastewater treatment plant was discharging higher    than normal levels of coliform bacteria earlier this week, and    the health department closed town beaches Thursday afternoon as    a precaution.  <\/p>\n<p>    Ipswich wastewater flows into Greenwood Creek, which feeds into    the Ipswich River and eventually the ocean.  <\/p>\n<p>    The closure affects Crane,Pavilion, Steep Hill,    Little Neck and Clark beaches.  <\/p>\n<p>    Samples of Ipswich beach water were taken today and sent for    testing, with results expected at midday Friday.
