Pavilion, Crane, Steep Hill, Little Neck and Clark beaches, all in Ipswich, are temporarily closed due to higher than normal coliform discharge from the town's wastewater treatment plant, according to Wicked Local's news partner, WCVB. <\/p>\n
There are no test results to indicate a public health risk, but as a precaution, the beaches will remain closed until more sampling confirms the water is safe. <\/p>\n
Water sampling is being conducted and results are expected on Friday. <\/p>\n
Once sampling confirms there is no risk to the public, the beaches will be re-opened. <\/p>\n
