Star gazers from across Southern California will be treated to an appearance by Geoff Norkin of the Science Channel's \"Meteorite Men\" at the annual Southern California Astronomy Exposition to be held Saturday at Oceanside Photo & Telescope. <\/p>\n
Norton will display meteorite samples and talk about his experiences searching for meteorites. <\/p>\n
Also scheduled to participate in the free day-long event is Stephen Ramsden, director of the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project, a nonprofit group that teaches children about the sun through lectures and telescope observations. <\/p>\n
The exposition is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Oceanside Photo & Telescope, 918 Mission Ave. <\/p>\n
