HURON COUNTY With an exceptionally warm kick-off to the summer season underway, officials from the Huron County Health Department report all local beaches are open and within safe limits for swimming. <\/p>\n
The results issued for all 13 area beaches tested have revealed they are well below the 300 E. coli colonies per 100 ml of water. <\/p>\n
There has only been one beach closure since testing started five weeks ago. That closure was at Port Crescent State Park Day-Use during the third week of testing. <\/p>\n
The summer beach testing program is funding by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. <\/p>\n

Caseville County Park 7.5863 <\/p>\n
Harbor Beach City Park 3.4028 <\/p>\n
