STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Police are asking for the publics help to locate a 69-year-old man from Brighton Heights who was reported missing from a hospital in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n
A Silver Alert has been issued for the man, who suffers from dementia and may be in need of medical attention, according to the citys Notify NYC alert system.<\/p>\n
Salvador Padilla of Brighton Avenue was last seen on Monday at about 7 p.m. inside Maimonides Medical Center at 4802 10th Ave. in Brooklyn, according to a statement from the NYPDs Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.<\/p>\n
Police described Padilla as weighing about 170 pounds.<\/p>\n
He is Hispanic, has brown eyes, salt-and-pepper hair, a gray mustache, and is missing his top front teeth.<\/p>\n
He was seen wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap and black sneakers.<\/p>\n
