All eastbound lanes of State Route 20 are blocked due to a fatal crash near Fidalgo Island on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Lanes are blocked just west of La Conner-Whitney Road, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. The crash happened near the Swinomish Slough, according to Washington State Patrol.<\/p>\n
Two people were killed when a wrong-way driver hit another car while traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes, according to WSP.<\/p>\n
A photo of the scene from Kurtis Perry showed a car dangling off the bridge after the crash.<\/p>\n
Eastbound traffic will be diverted south onto Reservation Road, according to WSDOT. Westbound traffic should expect occasional traffic stops.<\/p>\n
Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area while crews investigate.<\/p>\n
