Prince Edward Island has one new COVID-19 case,an essential worker in his 30s who travelled internationally recently. He has been self-isolating since his arrival on P.E.I., says Dr. Heather Morrison. This case is not related to the twomost recent cases, she said at her regular Tuesdaybriefing.<\/p>\n
Contact tracing and testing is underway on the previousnew case of COVID-19, a man in his 40s who is a health-care worker in the emergency department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown. More than 200 staff and patientshave been identified for testing.<\/p>\n
About 20 people gathered in Charlottetown to draw attention to the struggle of seniors in P.E.I.'s long-term care facilities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
