The problem, as I see it, is that while URIs are unique, we will end up with a situation where (as an example) there might be thousands of URIs for <span>NewsItem<\/span>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/swoogle.umbc.edu\/\">Swoogle semantic web search engine<\/a> is useful for finding already existing URIs - a good first step toward reuse.<\/p><p>Swoogle <a href=\"http:\/\/swoogle.umbc.edu\/2005\/modules.php?name=Documents&amp;file=manual&amp;doc=introduction\">will return results<\/a> using their type of 'page ranking'.<\/p><p>So, we need two things to accelerate the adoption and utility of the semantic web: web sites must start to include RDF and this included RDF must reuse common URIs for concepts and instances.<\/p><div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-o-matic\/cache\/bb3b5_9025880770474050744-1680712168360455496?l=artificial-intelligence-theory.blogspot.com\" style=\"padding-left:10px; padding-right: 10px;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A key idea of the semantic web is reusing other people's URIs - this reuse forms interconnections between different RDF data stores.
