Digital Asset, an enterprise blockchain company, announced today that VMware VMW joined its series C financing round. <\/p>\n
The amount of the investment was not disclosed but is expected to help Digital Asset grow its DAML blockchain platform.<\/p>\n
This new round, disclosed last December, also includes Salesforce Ventures CRM and Samsung Venture Investment Corp (Samsung).<\/p>\n
Brendon Howe, vice president and general manager of VMware Blockchain, also joined the companys Board of Directors. Brendon Howe joined VMware in September 2019 and is responsible for leading its Blockchain business unit. <\/p>\n
Digital Assets partnership with VMware provides a truly enterprise-grade blockchain offering that meets the requirements of even the most demanding use cases across a range of markets, said Yuval Rooz, co-founder and CEO of Digital Asset.
