We now have a similar showing in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/elections\/election_2012\/election_2012_presidential_election\/generic_presidential_ballot\/election_2012_generic_presidential_ballot\">Rasmussen Poll<\/a>. Generic Republican ahead by 6 points, 47 to 41.<\/p><blockquote><p>President Obama now earns his lowest level of support yet against a generic Republican candidate in a hypothetical 2012 election matchup.  <\/p><p>The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that a generic Republican earns support from 47% of Likely Voters, while the president picks up 41% of the vote.
