And one candidate is making it known where she stands, despite the officially non-partisan nature of the race.  <\/p><p>From the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/arizonarepublic\/local\/articles\/2011\/07\/03\/20110703phoenix-elections-party-politics-shows-races.html\">Arizona Republic<\/a> \"Party politics shows in races\":<\/p><blockquote><p>Jennifer Wright has been touting herself as the \"conservative choice\" for mayor, plastering the phrase on campaign signs.<\/p><p>She said she labeled herself a conservative to distinguish herself from Republican candidates.<\/p><p>Wright, who has done policy work for Libertarian organizations such as the Goldwater Institute and the Institute for Justice, said it's important to broadcast her views on limited government.<\/p><p>\"Knowing what someone's philosophy is lets you know how they're going to govern,\" said Wright, backed by several tea-party groups. \"But I don't believe in partisanship for the sake of partisanship and just voting along party lines. You need to make decisions based on what is best for the city.\"<\/p><\/blockquote><p>She is an attorney, and economist.  She is most well-known for having investigated a major voter fraud case in Yuma.  Her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wright4mayor.com\/index.html\">campaign website<\/a>.<\/p><p>Interestingly, a McCain-oriented <a href=\"http:\/\/politicomafioso.blogspot.com\/2011\/05\/jennifer-wright-is-not-conservative-ask.html\">website<\/a> blasts Wright as \"Not a Conservative,\" but rather a trouble-making former Hayworth for Senate staffer, and leader of the Recall Jan Brewer campaign.<\/p><div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-o-matic\/cache\/8831b_7828681836623105417-1795626953424653959?l=www.libertarianrepublican.net\" alt=\"\" style=\"padding-left:10px; padding-right: 10px;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From Eric Dondero:There's an election for Mayor of Phoenix in August.
