After leaving Malaysia we headed north up into Thailand at the southernmost point and arrived just in time to catch the train heading north to Hat Yai. 3 hours later the train actually left and we had a hot but enjoyable 6 hour journeyHat Yai is pretty dull but it was nice to get a feel for Thailand in one of the quieter cities.
