Rui Hachimura is a regular starter for the Washington Wizards. Here in the D.C. area. hes viewed as a supporting cast member to Bradley Beal. Outside of the U.S., hes the face of the Washington Wizards.<\/p>\n
(Sounds eerily similar to a couple Mystics forwards, but I digress. Thats another topic for another day.)<\/p>\n
Anyway, Hachimura is signed with Nikes Jordan Brand, but he wont simply be wearing Jumpman logo shoes. According to ESPNs Nickj DePaula, the brand wants to make Hachimura a global ambassador for the brand. Jordan Brand also intends to incorporate Hachimura into product launches around the Tokyo Olympics next year.<\/p>\n
Im really happy to see the impact Hachimura is beginning to make on the marketing end for Jordan Brand. He is also playing at a high level for the Wizards in his own right, and that will help him increase his impact globally and around here in the D.C. area as well.<\/p>\n
