UPDATE<\/strong><\/span>: Deorbit burn has been completed on time.  Discovery is on her way home.<\/p>

Discovery is home safely and this puts an end to an amazing spacecraft. WELCOME HOME!<\/p>

It is a pity the mission was marred by the comments from a high political figure but I guess we should be used to that by now.<\/p>
