US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, surprised many Nevadans and observers nationwide, with an out-of-the-blue rant last week against legalized prostitution in rural counties in his home State. <\/p>

Some have speculated that since Reid won urban Las Vegas overwhelmingly, and lost big time in rural Nevada to Republican Sharron Angle, it's payback time. <\/p>

Whatever the reason, his comments have won him Reason's Nanny-Stater of the month distinction.<\/p>
