Being from Southern California, I got very reminiscent of my bonfire days in San Diego. It&rsquo;s just such a lovely thing to do year-round. The problem is, I now live in Georiga, and apparently, there isn&rsquo;t a beach for thousands of miles that allows bonfires (as far as I can tell &mdash; if you know differently, please let me know!)<\/p><p>It looks as though in the U.S., very few beaches allow bonfires these days, which is sad. I understand it &ndash; the safety, trash and maintenance issues &ndash; but I don&rsquo;t like it. Those of you living in Oregon, however, are luckier than most. From what I understand, many <a href=\"http:\/\/beaches.uptake.com\/oregon.html\">Oregon beaches<\/a> and state parks still permit bonfires and fire pits. Jealous!<\/p><p>Here&rsquo;s a short list of some of the state parks and beaches in Oregon that allow fire pits.
