Republican for US Senate Carly Fiorina is surging ahead of Democrat incumbent Barbara Boxer, in what many consider to be the most critical race in the Nation. <\/p>

California Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina has increased her lead over Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer to five percentage points according to a new CBS 5 KPIX-TV poll released Thursday, which also shows gubernatorial candidates Democrat Jerry Brown and Republican Meg Whitman in a dead heat. <\/p><\/blockquote>

Now Fiorina is continuing with the momentum taking a campaign swing through the troubled agricultural region of the Central Valley. She is emphasizing very libertarian themes on the environment. <\/p>
