Sure, outrageous science is fun, but so is making fun of it.<\/p><p>In that spirit, we&rsquo;re happy to announce DISCOVER&rsquo;s panel at <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.comic-con.org\/cci\/index.php\">Comic-Con 2010<\/a>, in sunny San Diego. If you&rsquo;re at the convention <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.comic-con.org\/cci\/cci_search_results.php?strShow=27&amp;chkCat%5B%5D=246\">tomorrow (Thursday) night<\/a>, come by for a little discussion we&rsquo;re calling &ldquo;Abusing the Sci of Sci-Fi.&rdquo; It will run from 6-7 pm, in room 5AB.<\/p><p>The panel will be moderated by DISCOVER&rsquo;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/badastronomy\/\">Bad Astronomy<\/a> blogger Phil Plait, who will talk with five sci-fi movers and shakers about their favorite moments in good and bad sci-fi science.
