Dr. Chen specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin-cancer, and in cosmetic surgical and laser procedures. <\/p>\n
Dr. Chen graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago with a degree in Biological Sciences. She obtained her MD from New York University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.During this period, she conducted research in melanoma at the University of Louisville and co-authored several papers. <\/p>\n
Following an internship in internal medicine at the University of Louisville (KY), Dr. Chen completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Miami (FL), where she received an award for excellence in resident teaching, and participated in research on the healing of chronic leg wounds. Dr. Chen then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery. <\/p>\n
Dr. Chen is board-certified in dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow-elect of the American College of Mohs Surgery. <\/p>\n
