Definitely worth following.<\/li><\/ul><p>I love Ben Goldacre&rsquo;s idea of a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/bengoldacre.posterous.com\/things-id-like-to-see-a-repository-of-news-in\">unified news repository<\/a> in which each news story gets a unique ID and anyone can add or upload a full press release or quote to that story&rsquo;s page, add a link to a primary source, vote these up or down, or add a link to media coverage of that storuy.<\/p><p>A lovely piece by Andrew Marr about why it&rsquo;s a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/magazine-10634304\">great time to be a young journalist<\/a>.<\/p><p>Writers have to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/niemanstoryboard.us\/2010\/07\/16\/rebecca-skloot-immortal-life-of-henrietta-lacks-interview-narrative\/\">read this interview with Rebecca Skloot<\/a>, which reads like a masterclass in structure and narrative.<\/p><p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/stancarey.wordpress.com\/2010\/07\/12\/not-a-word-is-not-an-argument\/\">Stan Carey jumperates to my defensitation<\/a> after some readers decide to debate the use of orientate vs orient. No. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lucasbrouwers.nl\/blog\/2010\/07\/bad-science-reporting-the-fault-of-chickens-or-eggs\/\">Thoughtomics<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/whyevolutionistrue.wordpress.com\/2010\/07\/14\/godawful-science-reporting-msnbc-says-the-chicken-came-before-the-egg\/\">Why Evolution is True<\/a> tell us why.<\/p><p>&ldquo;Agreeableness [correlated] with &lsquo;wonderful&rsquo; and negatively correlated with &lsquo;porn&rsquo;.&rdquo; An <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/bps-research-digest.blogspot.com\/2010\/07\/links-between-bloggers-personalities.html\">analysis of blogger word use<\/a>, covered in BPS Research Digest.<\/p><p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.journalism.co.uk\/editors\/2010\/07\/13\/should-newspapers-publish-full-interview-transcripts-online\/\">Should newspapers publish full interview transcripts online<\/a>?
