{"id":25235,"date":"2010-07-18T08:10:26","date_gmt":"2010-07-18T08:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/more-jews-fewer-markers-gene-expression\/"},"modified":"2010-07-18T08:10:26","modified_gmt":"2010-07-18T08:10:26","slug":"more-jews-fewer-markers-gene-expression","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euvolution.com\/futurist-transhuman-news-blog\/astronomy\/more-jews-fewer-markers-gene-expression.php","title":{"rendered":"More Jews, fewer markers | Gene Expression"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At around the same time that the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/gnxp\/2010\/06\/genetics-the-jews-its-still-complicated\/\">two big Jewish<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/gnxp\/2010\/06\/genetics-the-jewish-question\/\">genetics papers<\/a> came out, there was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biomedcentral.com\/1471-2156\/11\/48\">another one in<\/a><em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biomedcentral.com\/1471-2156\/11\/48\"> BMC Genetics<\/a><\/em> which I had overlooked. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biomedcentral.com\/1471-2156\/11\/48\">It&rsquo;s open access<\/a> so you can read the whole thing, but seems like they used 32 <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Short_tandem_repeat\">STR<\/a>&rsquo;s as markers.
