Lab - ABCahoon, PhD Department of Biology Middle Tennessee State University Tissue Culturist - Sirin Baser This was inspired by a mistake in the Cahoon lab. Arabidopsis seeds were accidentally sown onto callus medium in the spring of 2012. Once we figured out why the seedlings morphologically \"unusual\" we became intrigued by the idea of callus induction directly from sees. This experiment was a purposeful attempt to compare Arabidopsis (left) and tobacco (right) responses to the callus medium.
