We seek candidates who demonstrate the independence to identify their own path within the organization, yet have the ability to contribute within a team environment. <\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p>REQUIREMENTS:<\/p><ul><li>MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Chemistry or related, with emphasis in signal and image processing <\/li><li>Experience with digital pathology images of stained tissue sections <\/li><li>3+ years strong Matlab programming experience <\/li><li>Solid understanding of multivariate statistics <\/li><li>Experience with hyperspectral image analysis, and\/or chemometric techniques such as pattern recognition, calibration, classification and optimization <\/li><li>Well versed in current algorithm literature <\/li><li>Experience with imaging processing techniques such as image filtering, segmentation, multi-sensor image fusion and image registration <\/li><li>Experience in the development of commercial software in a Windows environment in either C# \/ C++ programming <\/li><li>A solid background in the .net environment is a plus <\/li><li>A strong background in the use of the Software Development Lifecycle and quality processes &ndash; especially as defined by the IEEE Software Engineering standards <\/li><li>Total commitment to quality and complete attention to detail <\/li><li>The ability to think logically <\/li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills<\/li><\/ul><p>COMPENSATION:<\/p><ul><li>ChemImage offers a competitive salary, including an outstanding benefits package.
