Malawi is set to launch the Nutrition, HIV and AIDS project on Thursday February 28, 2012. <\/p>\n
Principal Secretary in the Department of Nutrition and HIV and AIDS Edith Mkawa said this during the news conference held at Central Office of Information in Lilongwe, Monday. <\/p>\n
She explained that President Joyce Banda will preside over the function at Bingu International Conference Centre. <\/p>\n
Malawi has made considerable gains in child survival and maternal health but no significant improvements have been recorded in stunting. <\/p>\n
The project is set to increase access to and utilization of selected services known to contribute to the reduction of child stunting, maternal and child anemia , she said. <\/p>\n
