Ginascol has more than 32 years experience in the healthcare industry covering all aspects of operations, quality, and supply chain. His breadth of experience covers pharmaceuticals, hospital products, medical devices, and nutritional products. <\/p>\n
Ginascol is responsible for all elements of global supply for Abbotts rapidly growing multi-billion-dollar Nutrition business, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, Quality, and all related support functions. These large-scale operations are based in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, India, and China and serve customers around the world. <\/p>\n
As an alumnus of LFGSM, I have a strong desire to help improve the graduate school, said John Ginascol. I am hopeful my broad global business perspective and experience will bring value to LFGSM and its mission. <\/p>\n
Ginascol was elected an officer of Abbott in 2008. He represents Abbott on several external committees, primarily focused on global agriculture, food safety and security, and harmonization and standardization of global food regulations. <\/p>\n
Ginascol earned a BS in Chemistry (with honors) from the University of Texas, and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He is active in numerous philanthropic organizations in and around the city of Chicago, including the Countryside Association for People with Disabilities, where he was formerly Board President. <\/p>\n
John Ginascol was elected to the Board of Directors at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in December 2012, and will serve on the Schools Educational Programs and Solutions (academics) Committee. <\/p>\n
