IF YOU'VE ever wondered about reaching out to someone on the other side or perhaps you just want to get more in touch with your spirituality, the Wamuran Psychic Fair is your chance to connect with some of the most gifted mediums in the state and support a fantastic charity too. <\/p>\n
The annual fair will host 16 readers and more than 30 stallholders selling everything from crystals and tarot cards to candles and homoeopathic products. <\/p>\n
Hosted by the Spiritualist Church of Love, Light and Harmony, the fair's gold coin entry will raise funds for Angel Flight. <\/p>\n
Reverend Val Heward said the organisation holds a special place in their hearts. <\/p>\n
\"Angel Flights gets no government assistance. It's totally run by volunteers, she said. <\/p>\n
\"All the pilots fly their own planes and most of the donations just pay for the fuel otherwise they have to pay for it themselves. <\/p>\n
Church member Linda Jones has been involved with the fair for about a decade and said people kept coming back for more. <\/p>\n
\"It's a good platform for people to learn about spirituality. They get a little taste of reading without charging them an arm and a leg. <\/p>\n
\"There are all different types of mediums; readers, psychics, card readers, numerologists, palm readers. <\/p>\n
Priced at $20 for 30 minutes, Linda said it was a great opportunity for people to get a taste of what the church was all about. <\/p>\n
\"It's not a religion, it's a way of life, she said. <\/p>\n
Head along to the Wamuran Community Hall on August 19 from 9am to 4pm. <\/p>\n
