GREAT FALLS - <\/p>\n
The Rednek Robotics team from Sun River beat 128 teams to win the First Tech Competition World Championship back in April. <\/p>\n
The winningrobot is designed to pick up3 1\/2inch wiffle balls and shoot them in a goal about 4 feet high. <\/p>\n
The team wants to demonstrate their winning robot so everyone in the community can see it in person and learn more about the program that they are involved in. <\/p>\n
Visitors will have the opportunity todrivethe robot and try to get the wiffle balls in the goal. <\/p>\n
Ilaya Payne, a senior in high school that has been with the Robotics team for threeyears, said, \"We want to interest students and younger kids to understand that this is available to them when they do get into high school and middle school.\" <\/p>\n
The Robotics team will be at the fair Saturday, August 5th, from 1-6pm. <\/p>\n
