A six-week drug bust has seen over $100,000 worth of methamphetamine taken out of circulation. <\/p>\n
A covert police operation which involved Waikato to Southern police districts seized about 130gramsof meth worth $130,000 and an estimated $80,000 in cash. <\/p>\n
The investigation targeted an alleged drug distribution network that supplied methamphetamine from Waikato to the lower South Island. <\/p>\n

The Waikato Organised crime team also executed a search warrant on Wednesdayafternoon and subsequently arrested a 28-year-old female in Hamilton. <\/p>\n
She has been charged with supplying methamphetamine and will appear in the Hamilton District Court on Thursday. <\/p>\n
This offence carries a maximum penalty of life, under the Misuse of Drugs Act. <\/p>\n
A 48-year-old man was arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply methamphetamine in Dunedin. <\/p>\n
He will appear in court on Thursday. <\/p>\n
Police also seizedcannabis plants, dried cannabis head, and other items indicative of drug dealing and aTasergun. <\/p>\n
