The popular                      beach sits below a bluff with a great expanse                      of lawn, picnic facilities, and the                      fascinating Baycrafters store across Lake Rd. The beach here is more friendly to                      sun-bathers and swimmers than those on nearby                      South Bass Island, which tend to be rocky.
