The meeting will include    the election of Council officers and voting on the grants for    Fiscal Year 2018. All are invited to attend a reception in the    Museum's Riverview Court Gallery immediately following the    conclusion of the meeting. Special thanks to the New Jersey    State Museum for generously co-hosting the reception. The    meeting and reception are free and open to the    public.  <\/p>\n<p>    Those unable to attend the meeting may call the    Council office at(609)    292-6130after1:30 PMonJuly    25thto learn the results of the meeting. The    Council was established to encourage and foster public interest    in the arts; enlarge public and private resources devoted to    the arts; promote freedom of expression in the arts; and    facilitate the inclusion of art in every public building in New    Jersey. The Council receives direct appropriations from the    State of New Jersey through a dedicated, renewable Hotel\/Motel    Occupancy fee, as well as competitive grants from the National    Endowment for the Arts.
