The group was urging Maine's senior senator to vote against the GOP healthcare bill. <\/p>\n
This is just one of many sit-ins happening all across the country Friday. <\/p>\n
Protesters are urging lawmakers to vote No on health care repeal. <\/p>\n
The protesters occupied Susan Collins office, saying the republican health care plan would be catastrophic for Americans, leaving more than 23 million people without health insurance. <\/p>\n
Senator Collins has not said how she will vote on the health care repeal bill. <\/p>\n
Protestors hope she hears their concerns when she makes her decision. <\/p>\n
Protesters also say the republican plan will make it harder for people with pre-existing conditions to get coverage. <\/p>\n
CBS 13 reached out to Senator Collins office Friday. The spokesperson for the senator responded, <\/p>\n
