Texas Motor Speedway and Levy Restaurants have come up with another unique food item that combines the best of two American food classics - the hot dog and BLT sandwich. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Hawg Heaven BLT Dawg is an oversized global mashup of flavors inspired by the classic BLT sandwich. It begins with an East-West Kobe beef frank, crispy thick cut bacon, Italian-inspired double tomato bruschetta, and a Korean fusion smoky bacon kimchee instead of lettuce. It is then topped off with a French-inspired fine herb aioli sauce and served on a poppy seed bun. \"The Verizon IndyCar Series is a global sport so I decided to use flavors from around the world to create the Hawg Heaven BLT Dawg,\" Engstrom said. \"As with the other items, it features plenty of bacon but the ingredients mesh well together and turns this BLT Dawg into a special meal. I'm sure race fans at Texas Motor Speedway during the Rainguard Water Sealers 600 will enjoy eating this version of this popular line of concession items.\" <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
This specialty concession item is only available at concession stand 405 inside Gate 4. Priced at $12, it will be on sale during the weekend that features the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series winstaronlinegaming.com 400 on Friday (7 p.m.) and the Rainguard Water Sealers 600 on Saturday (7:30 p.m. CT). The weekend also will feature the SPEED Energy Stadium Super Trucks and the Texas Off-Road Ruckus expo on both days as well. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The Hawg Heaven concession line began in 2013 with Hawg Heaven Bacon Cotton Candy and has featured the Shake 'n Bacon Brew bacon-infused beer milkshake, Bacon Nachos, Queso Wings, Double Barrel Dawg, the Final Rocky Road-eo ice cream sundae honoring Jeff Gordon's final season in 2015, the BBQ Melt, the Ranchero Dawg, the Three Little Pigs and most recently the Burro Grande at April's race weekend. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
