The tanks fearsome new cannon can fire explosive shells at 1km per second, analysis suggests. <\/p>\n
The new hardware is being developed as tensions continue to rise between China and the West in the South China Sea. <\/p>\n

China has issued a chilling warning to America over US Navy patrols in the South China Sea which it deemed threatening and damaging. <\/p>\n
Chinese military leaders also revealed war with the US could now become a reality as a top powerbroker warned war could erupt between the two nations if trade agreements were to break down. <\/p>\n
Experts believe the tank will replace the ZBD-04 and ZDB-04A which are used by China's People's Liberation Army. <\/p>\n

Unconfirmed Chinese media reports suggest the IFV may be armed with a new fast-loading cannon. <\/p>\n
A similar weapon system was recently unveiled at the Chinese Zhuhai Airshow in November last year sparking claims the weapon could be fitted to the leaked photo. <\/p>\n

The developer, China North Industries Corporation, claimed the cannon can fire up to 200 rounds per minute. <\/p>\n
