Stamford girl headed to robotics finals <\/p>\n
Stamford resident Wendy Lichtenberg, a seventh-grader at the Harvey School in Katonah, N.Y., will compete in a statewide robotics tournament this weekend. <\/p>\n
She and her sixth-grade partner, Clayton Collum, placed eighth out of 40 teams in the final match of the VEX IQ Challenge state-qualifier competition earlier this month at East Rockaway High School on Long Island. <\/p>\n
The pair will compete Saturday in the New York state tournament in Massapequa. <\/p>\n
