EDAP Announces Preliminary Unaudited Full Year 2016 Revenue <\/p>\n
EDAP TMS SA (NASDAQ: EDAP), the global leader in therapeutic ultrasound, announced today that its unaudited Fourth Quarter 2016 revenue is estimated to be 10.7 million and its full year 2016 revenues to be around 35.6 million, an increase of 10% as compared to revenue of 32.3 million for the full year 2015. <\/p>\n
The Company estimates that as of December 31, 2016, it had 22 million of cash on hand. <\/p>\n
Marc Oczachowski, Chief Executive Officer, commented: \"We are pleased with our 2016 revenue and EDAP's continued growth, mainly driven by 63% growth in our HIFU division. With 22 million of cash on hand at the end of the year, we are well positioned to pursue our development programs and marketing expansion strategy to make our innovative HIFU technology available worldwide.\" <\/p>\n
The Company also announced that it will report fourth quarter and full year 2016 results after the close of the market on Monday, April 3rd, 2017.
