Close to 1000 people are expected to lift their eyes to the skies on Saturday night in a bid to set a world record. <\/p>\n
The world's largest astronomy lesson will get underway at 6.30pm at Maida Vale Reserve and will see Richard Tonello from Astronomy Education Services share some of his expertise after the sun goes down. <\/p>\n
He said there were five \"targets\" to look at including Jupiter and the Moon. <\/p>\n

\"I wanted to tell a story about how stars are born and also how solar systems are born,\" Mr Tonello said. <\/p>\n

\"We start off with the great Orion nebula, where stars are forming right now. <\/p>\n
\"Then we'll look at a cluster of stars called the wishing well cluster and then we'll look at a particular star which is very similar to our sun.\" <\/p>\n
