First-time applicants must bring their deed, proof of residency and social security numbers of all applicants. Mobile home owners must also provide titles or registrations to the home. Applications can be filed at either the main office, second floor of the administrative building, Green Cove Springs, or the branch office, 1518 Park Avenue, Orange Park. Staff and volunteers went through four days of Dogs Playing For Life training with dog trainer Aimee Sadler, who started the program. Paid for by a grant from The Animal Farm Foundation, the program is intended to help the dogs socialization, relieve stress, improve kennel presentation and release their energy.
