I dont have specifics on how often Airbnb employees are traveling and using the service, but I can tell you its quite frequent. Whether its staying in an Airbnb far far away, or 20 minutes out of town for the weekend, we make the most of our travel credit. <\/p>\n
By design, the travel credit program encourages travel. Employees are given travel credit at the beginning of each quarter. The credit expires at the end of each quarter. If you dont use it, you lose it. I think this is a great system because it pretty much forces us to go on adventures at least 4 times a year. Many employees go on more. <\/p>\n
The travel credit obviously isnt just a perk. Its an important tool that gives us valuable insight into how we can improve and build on the experience. <\/p>\n
The question asks how often Airbnb employees use the service, so I should mention that in addition to using the service as guests, many Airbnb employees also host. Hosting definitely helps us understand the product better, and it also enables more travel! <\/p>\n
As far as working remotely while using the travel credit? Its pretty dependent on the team\/project the individual is working on. <\/p>\n
