This one flooded the joint. <\/p>\n
After receiving a panicked call from another business in his Northern Beaches complex, veterinarian Paul McGeown rushed to work just before 7am yesterday to find water flowing from the Northern Beaches Veterinary Hospital. <\/p>\n
\"I was in shock and awe,\" he said. <\/p>\n
\"Initially we thought a water main had burst. We feared the worst.\" <\/p>\n
Instead, during the night an adventurous pooch had managed to get loose in the veterinary premises and knocked a laundry tap that opened the floodgates. <\/p>\n
Mr McGeown asked for the escapee's name to be withheld because it was a first offence and due to the unusual circumstances. <\/p>\n
\"He's such a sweet dog. We can't believe he got out,\" he said. <\/p>\n
Despite being surrounded by unpredictable pooches on a daily basis, Mr McGeown said this was \"one of the strangest\" incidents he had seen in his working life. <\/p>\n
\"We've had plumbers and electricians here all morning,\" he said. <\/p>\n
