Alex Zhang Hungtai has announced the end of his Dirty Beaches project. In a series of Tweets, he explained that he plans to keep making music, but under a different name: <\/p>\n
Hi guys thank you all for the support of STATELESS, its sad to say goodbye to DB, but rest assured NEW PROJECTS NEW MUSIC COMING SOON 2015 <\/p>\n
this may not be a smart move & painful1 too, but in the long run I'll look back& be glad I moved on from Dirty Beaches. Thank you all x <\/p>\n

Hungtai will release his final album as Dirty Beaches, the instrumental collectionStateless, on November 4. You can listen to it here, via Pitchfork Advance. A statement he wrote about the album included the line \"Nothing is forever.\" <\/p>\n
