Porcello gave up just one run on six hits while earning his seventh win of the season. The right-hander struck out four, walked one and threw 110 pitches (71 strikes). <\/p>\n
John Lackey did not fare as well. The Red Sox starter lasted 5 1\/3 innings and gave up six runs (five earned) on nine hits. He struck out four, walked two and threw 96 pitches (70 strikes). <\/p>\n
The Red Soxs lone run came in the fifth inning on Xander Bogaerts first career home run at Fenway Park. The 21-year-olds previous two big leaguer homers both came on the road. <\/p>\n
The Red Sox finished Saturdays game 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position, making them 0-for-9 in such situations this series. Boston left six men on base. <\/p>\n
Jake Peavy and Anibal Sanchez will clash in a nationally televised showdown Sunday. The Red Sox are looking to avoid their first four-game losing streak since 2012, and the first pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. <\/p>\n

Miguel Cabrera drilled a two-out double in the ninth inning. Victor Martinez threatened to knock him in with a drive toward the right-center field gap, but Grady Sizemore made an impressive running grab to keep Bostons deficit at five runs. <\/p>\n
