Workington Comets head into a huge double-header this weekend full of confidence after back-to-back wins, according to owner Laura Morgan. <\/p>\n

After an indifferent start to the season, Comets comprehensively won their last two matches and are looking to continue their good form this weekend. <\/p>\n
They face the reigning Premier League champions Somerset Rebels at Derwent Park tomorrow in the Premier League Knockout Cup, a competition the Rebels also won last year. <\/p>\n
The Comets will be hoping for a decent points tally to take to Somerset for the second leg next Friday. <\/p>\n
On Sunday Workington travel to the north east to take on Newcastle Diamonds in the Premier League. <\/p>\n
Comets romped to victory in their opening Premier League fixture on Saturday with a 52-40 home win over Peterborough and have already enjoyed success against Newcastle earlier this season when they triumphed in the Ian Thomas Shield. <\/p>\n
Morgan said: We are feeling much better than we have done of late. I did think the Peterborough match was going to be tough, but on the contrary. There was some excellent racing. The adrenaline was pumping round the stadium. <\/p>\n
We hope thats a sign that things are starting to settle down and we will see what happens this weekend. <\/p>\n
