Was it for <span>nutrigenomics<\/span>? Was it for the captive audience to market products to?<\/span><\/span><\/p><div><span><span><br><\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span>Until today, when I read in American Medical news that <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cincinnati.bizjournals.com\/cincinnati\/stories\/2010\/02\/01\/daily50.html\"><span><span>Proctor and Gamble BOUGHT <span>MDVIP<\/span> in December of last year<\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span>! Man how did I miss that one?<\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span><br><\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span>\"<\/span><\/span><span><span><span>Terms of P&amp;G&rsquo;s acquisition were not disclosed. It was made by P&amp;G&rsquo;s <span>FutureWorks<\/span> unit, a new-business generator that&rsquo;s intended to connect the company with external partners and expand P&amp;G&rsquo;s scope beyond its core businesses into new channels.\"<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span><span><br><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span><span>So, P&amp;G is looking for the whole enchilada in personalized medicine here.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span><span><br><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><div><span><span><span>Too bad, <span>Navigenics<\/span>' tests are currently not useful.
