BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Beaches along the country have been maintained to give a great atmosphere for recreation and comfort for beach-goers especially families thronging to the shorelines during free time following recent renovation works carried out at Muara, Serasa, Berakas and Sengkarai Beaches. <\/p>\n
More recently, Tungku Beach is being renovated and the Ministry of Development have taken the initiative to clean up the area and build basic amenities such as water supply, public toilets, a surau and notice boards. <\/p>\n
This is done on behalf of the welfare and safety of visitors and vendors visiting or operating in the area. <\/p>\n
However, damages to facilities (photo above) have been found in a short span of time. <\/p>\n
The Ministry of Development urges cooperation from beach-goers and members of the public to help maintain the cleanliness of amenities and the immediate surroundings as well as not to litter. <\/p>\n
