PHILADELPHIA (CBS) About 1300 men gathered at St. Josephs University for the 6th annual Man Up Philly spirituality conference on Saturday. <\/p>\n
Were just so excited that so many men came out and agreed to say yes to our lord, says conference chairman Eustace Mita, because, as we know, were moving in a fast world. <\/p>\n
Mita says this years theme was pornography. <\/p>\n
Because theres a desensitizing of it, he says, and you need not look any further than our high schools and colleges where were having increases in sexual harassment. <\/p>\n
Mita says this event has grown tremendously over the past 6 years and says its nice to be surrounded by other like-minded individuals. <\/p>\n
There are many things that men dont like to talk about with each other, he says. Faith happens to be among that; how they feel about god, and we want men to know that there is someplace that they can go. <\/p>\n
