The Department of Work and Pensions offers extra support to people with a range of neurological conditions. Illnesses such as epilepsy, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis are all covered by the Personal Independent Payment (PIP).<\/p>\n
According to the DWP nearly 3 million people in the UK are claiming extra support and over 300,000 claim it for a neurological condition. The PIP benefit is available to over 70 conditions and can help families struggling under the cost of living crisis, The Daily Record reports. <\/p>\n
You could be entitled to 156 per week if you have any of these 70 neurological conditions. The PIP can be claimed as long as the following applies:<\/p>\n
